Quickly becoming a favorite here at Stand Proud! An on and off leash intensive lifestyle program, based out of our homes, that is effective by immersing your dog in our training routine which includes structure, daily walks, socialization, and exposure to the real world. Your dog truly becomes a member of our pack and will join us on trips to Home Depot, Lowe's, the Sparks Marina (weather permitting) and our facility. This program is suitable for adolescent and adult dogs without SEVERE behavioral issues and is ideal for owners who want their dog to listen in high distraction environments and may not have the time to attend private lessons every week. We strive to help you build a new foundation with your dog, a relationship built on understanding, trust, and clear communication. We want to empower you and your dog to excel in lots of new places! We will address issues such as:
Lack of manners
Chasing the cat and other critters
We specialize in state-of-the-art low level e-collar training and is nothing like the methods of old. Contemporary E-collar training utilizes the gentlest remote communication, and is one of the most humane and effective approaches to dog training available.

Come when called
Automatic sit - dependant on dogs age/health
Thresholds/ door manners
Waiting for food
Treadmill (upon request)
Controlled Jogging (great for people who want to run with their dogs. Upon request)
This program includes a 30-minute consultation on our starting day, two 1-1.5 hour follow ups at the end of the program where we will transfer all the information, strategies, and techniques to you to insure continued success. You will also have lifetime access to our weekly group classes.
4-6 Weeks Behavior Modification

This is an intensive program geared to help owners with dogs who suffer from severe behavioral issues including
Aggression (toward humans, dogs, or other animals)
Severe resource/ food guarding
Debilitating fear/ anxiety
This is the only program we offer for dogs who have bitten humans or other animals, have intent to do harm or have debilitating fear and/or anxiety issues. Due to dogs needing extra time to acclimate and build trust in our leadership and guidance, longer stays are necessary. Please contact us so we can discuss the extent of your dog’s behavior and build a program that will work best. We focus on changing your dog’s state of mind by removing them from their current environment, creating a solid foundation, having clear expectations, and building good habits. A dog whose life is permission based greatly improves the human-dog relationship and helps address behavioral problems at their source. This program includes a 30-minute consultation on our starting day, as well as three 1-1.5 hour follow ups at the end of the program where we will transfer all the information, strategies, and techniques to you to insure continued success.

Dogs without severe behavioral issues such as aggression, severe fear/anxiety or obsessive behaviors are eligible for this program, this ensures the safety of those involved. You will learn with your dog at our facility and implement what we teach when you get home, and in your daily life. Commitment to homework is required and crucial to your dog’s success, we need you to follow rules and the foundation set by us. Private lessons run for one hour, once a week, this allows for practice at home and is very important to ensure the results you’re aiming for. This is the only program where private lessons are available for the entirety of the dog’s life, if you ever need to fine-tune a behavior or decide you want to advance your dog’s obedience further, simply contact us and we’ll work with you! Access to unlimited group classes is also included, group classes are ideal for proofing your dog in a wide array of distractions and stimulation in a controlled environment. We will also address minor behavioral issues such as jumping, counter surfing, barking, pulling, bolting through doors and more. In this program your dog will learn:

Walk calmly on leash

Private lessons - 4 weeks
$450, $75 Per Extra Lesson, Includes Group Classes for 1 Year and Prong Training Collar
This program is for owners who’d like to learn with their dog, start to finish, and is suitable for dogs without severe behavioral issues. You become the trainer! Dogs with severe human or dog aggression are not eligible for one-on-one training, this is to ensure the safety of everyone involved. Training is done once a week for 1 hour at our facility, and includes a 15-30 minute introduction to the prong collar. We address behaviors such as jumping, barking, pulling, and more. Homework is given every week to practice and is essential for your dog's success.

Start your puppy off on the right paw with our puppy program! Perfect for first time puppy owners or people who have raised puppies in the past. During these lessons we will teach you how to potty train, crate train, and properly socialize your new member of the family. This covers basic obedience as well as preventing and managing different behavior such as fear, nipping, chewing, and barking. Puppies 8 weeks to 5 months are eligible for puppy lessons.
